Synopsis (short abstract) GFCM е регионалната организация за управление на рибарството в Черно море. 22 страни и Европейския съюз членуват в нея, като основната цел е да се гарантира опазването и устойчивата експлоатация на морските живи ресурси. През 2016 г. GFCM стартира BlackSea4Fish, проект за предоставяне на научна и техническа подкрепа за устойчивото управление на рибарството в Черно море. Кампанията за повишаване на осведомеността за черноморската бодлива акула се провежда със сътрудничеството на научни институти и други национални структури в отделните Черноморските страни (NIMRD и NAFA/ Румъния; SUMAE и BSGM/Турция; NEA/ Грузия; ИАРА/България) и техническото звено за Черно море (BSU) на GFCM.

    Piked dogfish (Squalus acanthias) were once common throughout the Black Sea. However, poor historic management of stocks mean that today their regional survival is under threat. Piked dogfish are still caught in targeted fisheries in Bulgaria and Romania and as bycatch throughout the Black Sea, both in active and passive fishing gear. They grow slowly, mature late and produce few young – this makes their populations particularly vulnerable to overfishing. Because of this vulnerability, the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) has made the species a priority for scientific monitoring, and has launched a dedicated research programme under the BlackSea4Fish project.

    Piked dogfish (Squalus acanthias) were once common throughout the Black Sea. However, poor historic management of stocks mean that today their regional survival is under threat. Piked dogfish are still caught in targeted fisheries in Bulgaria and Romania and as bycatch throughout the Black Sea, both in active and passive fishing gear. They grow slowly, mature late and produce few young – this makes their populations particularly vulnerable to overfishing. Because of this vulnerability, the General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean (GFCM) has made the species a priority for scientific monitoring, and has launched a dedicated research programme under the BlackSea4Fish project.

    Câinii de mare (Squalus acanthias) reprezentau odată o specie răspândită în toată Marea Neagră. Cu toate acestea, din cauza gestionării necorespunzătoare a efectivelor în trecut, supraviețuirea speciei este amenințată în prezent. Câinii de mare sunt Câinii de mare sunt în continuare capturați în cadrul activităților de pescuit direcționat din Bulgaria și România și sub formă de captură accidentală în toată Marea Neagră, atât cu unelte de pescuit active, cât și fixe. Din cauza acestei vulnerabilități, Comisia Generală pentru Pescuit în Marea Mediterană (CGPM ) a prioritizat monitorizarea științifică a acestei specii și a lansat un program de cercetare special în cadrul proiectului BlackSea4Fish.

    ქიცვიანი ზვიგენი (კატრანი) (Squalus acanthias) ოდესღაც მთელ შავ ზღვაში იყო გავრცელებული. თუმცა, მარაგების არასათანადო მართვის გამო დღეს მათი რეგიონული არსებობა საფრთხის ქვეშაა. კატრანს მიზნობრივად ჯერ კიდევ იჭერენ ბულგარეთსა და რუმინეთში, შავი ზღვის დანარჩენ ტერიტორიაზე კი თანჭერისას, როგორც აქტიური, ასევე პასიური სათევზაო აღჭურვილობით. ასეთი მოწყვლადობის გამო, ხმელთაშუა ზღვის თევზჭერის გენერალურმა კომისიამ (GFCM) სამეცნიერო მონიტორინგისათვის ეს სახეობა პრიორიტეტად გამოაცხადა და BlackSea4Fish პროექტის ფარგლებში სპეციალური კვლევის პროგრამა დაიწყო.
