No results found.En Bolivia, las mujeres constituyen el 50,2% del total de la población. La tasa de analfabetismo presenta diferencias sustantivas entre hombres y mujeres: 7,9% y 20,6% respectivamente. El 85,7% de las mujeres rurales se ocupan en el sector agricultura y pecuario Las mujeres participan activamente en la producción de papa, maíz y otros cereales, cumpliendo un rol esencial en la post-cosecha. Las mujeres están activamente involucradas en la forestaría y en la producción de gana do menor. La mujer contribuye al ingreso del hogar, a través de la huerta familiar, de la producción doméstica y artesanal y del trabajo asalariado. La mujer tiene un rol central en el cuidado del hogar y en la producción de alimentos. La contribución de las mujeres a la agricultura está ampliamente subestimada, pues generalmente son consideradas trabajadoras familiares no remuneradas. -

La mujer se incorpor masivamente al mercado de trabajo agrcola, como temporera de la fruta en la agroindustria. Ms de la mitad de quienes trabajan en esta actividad son mujeres. Las mujeres participan activamente en la pr oduccin de maz y de la papa, cumpliendo un rol esencial en la post-cosecha. Las mujeres estn activamente involucradas en la forestara, pesquera y produccin de ganado menor. La mujer contribuye al ingreso del hogar, a travs de la huerta familiar, de la produccin domstica y del trabajo asalariado. La mujer tiene un rol central en el cuidado del hogar y en la produccin de alimentos. No results found.The fourth meeting of the FAO/CECAF Working Group on the Assessment of Small Pelagic Fish – Subgroup South was held in Elmina, Ghana from 12-20 September 2018. The overall objective of the Working Group is to contribute to the improved management of small pelagic resources in West Africa through the assessment of the state of the stocks and fisheries in order to ensure sustainable use of these resources for the benefit of coastal countries. The species assessed by the Working Group were: sardinella (Sardinella aurita and Sardinella maderensis), bonga (Ethmalosa fimbriata), anchovy (Engraulis encrasicolus) and horse mackerel (Trachurus trecae and Decapterus rhonchus), and other Carangidae, in the region between the northern border of Guinea-Bissau and the southern border of Angola. La quatrième réunion du Groupe de travail FAO/COPACE sur l’évaluation des petits pélagiques – Sous-groupe Sud, s’ets tenue à Elmina, Ghana, du 12 au 20 septembre 2018. L’objectif général du Groupe de travail est d’améliorer la gestion des ressources en petits pélagiques en Afrique de l’Ouest grâce à l’évaluation de l’état des stocks et des pêcheries de façon à assurer une utilisation durable de ces ressources au bénéfice des pays côtiers. Les espèces évaluées par le Groupe de travail sont les suivantes: les sardinelles (Sardinella aurita et t Sardinella maderensis), l’ethmalose (Ethmalosa fimbriata), l’anchois (Engraulis encrasicolus) et les chinchards (Trachurus trecae et Decapterus rhonchus) et autres carangidés, dans la région située entre la frontière nord de la Guinée-Bissau et la frontière sud de l’Angola. -

No results found.This report summarises the proceedings of the training programme based on the good practices and elements of communication learnt in the technical lecture sessions – including the technical lectures, the hands-on exercises, the discussions on case studies to apply best practices of risk communication in real life food safety situations, and the role play which was organised to demonstrate how to deal with the press when a food safety incident occurs. The training exposed participants to the rapi d risk communication assessment tool to enable them to assess their food safety risk communication capability and capacity at the organizational, country, regional and global levels, including practical approaches to address such needs. Some areas for support identified for capacity building at country and regional levels on risk communication are also covered. -
