The AGRISurvey programme was launched in 2017 and ended in 2021. Activities continue under the 50x2030 Initiative to Close the Agricultural Data Gap. This document presents the success stories and lessons learned from the implementation of the programme in countries and accompanies the release of the final project report.

The censuses of agriculture are conducted under the FAO’s World Programme for the Census of Agriculture (WCA), which is a decennial programme. This brief covers the period 1990-2010.
