dc.description.abstract The course is mainly for veterinarians who are directly involved in the development and implementation of risk-based strategies for FMD control. Suitable participants are likely to be working in central level veterinary services and responsible for epidemiology and/or disease prevention and control strategies and policies. Researchers and academics who are interested in carrying out studies of the socioeconomic impacts of FMD and other livestock diseases, which will contribute to support disease control strategies, are also invited to participate.
