Synopsis (short abstract) The report presents some of the general aspects of Chad before analysing the two most important chapters of the report. First, the main characteristics of the supply of fuelwood are presented with an estimate of the potential capacity of the country to supply. The main characteristics of the demand are underlined followed by the country’s political, institutional and legislative background. Some fiscal issues are outlined followed by a description of future scenarios for demand and supply.
