Synopsis (short abstract)Countries as well as invited inter-governmental and non governmental organizations are encouraged to submit short Conference Room Documents presenting their own experiences in relation to the theme of the Forum, namely Building effective food safety systems. Each document should specifically focus on one of the two sub-themes Strengthening official food safety control services and Epidemio-surveillance of foodborne diseases and food safety rapid alert systems, or one of the nine topics select ed under these two sub-themes as listed under Items 4 and 5 in the Provisional Agenda (GF 02/1). Member countries, international organizations and non-governmental organizations are invited to submit papers on as many of the topics as they choose. Conference Room Documents should be submitted in one or more of the official languages of the Forum i.e. Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
