dc.description.abstract The FAO Representation in Namibia has been actively engaged in implementing various projects across Namibia meant to rescue farmers from the harsh prolonged drought situation that has gripped the country since 2018. Through various projects, such as the UNCERF funded project, FAO has provided assistance to many farmers who were struggling to keep their livestock alive and in turn, also brought relief to their immediate beneficiaries. FAO Namibia has also been providing assistance to the Namibian Government to address the recent outbreak of African Migratory and Red Locusts in the northern parts of the country.
