Book (series)Fall armyworm: measuring damage and loss caused by a novel invasive pest as a guide to sustainable management 2023
Also available in:
No results found. The rise in global trade and human mobility, along with climate change-induced shifts in weather patterns, has led to the rapid transmission of invasive insect species, causing threats to agriculture, crop productivity, and public health. The fall armyworm (FAW), originally from the Americas, has become an invasive and highly destructive pest, causing significant agricultural losses worldwide. This paper aims to present a comprehensive analysis of FAW-induced maize losses, drawing from a diverse source of both qualitative and quantitative assessments.
