No results found.The nineteenth session of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC) was held in Barbados and virtually, 6–8 September 2023. The Commission adopted two regional fisheries management recommendations and endorsed three other conservation and management measures. The Commission also stressed the importance of keeping the Sargassum issue on the agenda of WECAFC moving forward. The Commission also endorsed the Framework of Cooperation between the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas and WECAFC, made progress in the review of its new Rules of Procedure and endorsed the 2023–2025 Programme of Work.La dix-neuvième session de la Commission des pêches pour l’Atlantique Centre-Ouest (COPACO) s’est tenue à la Barbade et virtuellement, 6-8 septembre 2023. La Commission a adopté deux recommandations régionales en matière de gestion des pêches et a approuvé trois autres mesures de conservation et de gestion. La Commission a souligné qu’il importait de maintenir la question des sargasses à l’ordre du jour de la COPACO à l’avenir. La Commission a également approuvé le Cadre de coopération entre la Commission internationale pour la conservation des thonidés de l’Atlantique et la COPACO, a avancé dans la révision de son nouveau règlement intérieur et a approuvé le programme de travail 2023-2025.La decimonovena reunión de la Comisión de Pesca para el Atlántico Centro-Occidental se celebró en Barbados y de forma virtual, 6-8 septiembre de 2023. La Comisión adoptó dos recomendaciones regionales de gestión pesquera y aprobó otras tres medidas de conservación y ordenación. La Comisión destacó la importancia de mantener la cuestión del sargazo en el programa de la COPACO en el futuro. La Comisión también revisó y aprobó el Marco de Cooperación entre la Comisión Internacional para la Conservación del Atún del Atlántico (CICAA) y la COPACO, avanzó en la revisión de su nuevo Reglamento y aprobó el Programa de Trabajo 2023-2025. -

No results found.This document is the final version of the report of the tenth session of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC) and of the seventh session of the Committee for the Development and Management of Fisheries in the Lesser Antilles held in Bridgetown, Barbados, from 24 to 27 October 2001. Major topics discussed during the sessions were: the state of fishery resources and the situation and trends of fisheries in the WECAFC region, progress in the restructuring of WECAFC and its draft strategy, work programme of WECAFC 2002-03 and modalities for Co-operation and Capacity Building for responsible fishery management in the WECAFC Region. The Commission also reviewed the progress made in the implementation of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries and the main activities carried out during the intersessional period. The Commission expressed satisfaction with the achievements during the inter-sessional period, endorsed the formation of the Lesser Antilles ad hoc working group on moored FAD Fishing and adopted the work programme 2002-03 while noting that extra-budgetary resources would be required for its implementation. The main recommendations of the Session are included as Appendix G. -

The session was attended by 25 members of the Commission. Observers from 20 partner organizations also participated. The Commission adopted seven regional fisheries management recommendations. La dix-septième session de la Commission des pêches pour l’Atlantique Centre-Ouest s’est tenue à Miami (États-Unis d’Amérique) (USA), du 15 au 18 juillet 2019. 25 membres de la Commission y ont participé. Des observateurs issus de 20 organisations partenaires étaient également présents. La Commission a adopté sept recommandations sur la gestion régionale des pêches. La 17.ª reunión de la Comisión de Pesca para el Atlántico Centro- Occidental se celebró en Miami, Estados Unidos de América (EE.UU.), del 15 al 18 de julio de 2019. Asistieron a la reunión 25 miembros de la Comisión. También participaron observadores de 20 organizaciones asociadas. La Comisión aprobó siete recomendaciones de gestión pesquera regional.

No results found.The FAOSTAT emissions database is composed of several data domains covering the categories of the IPCC Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector of the national GHG inventory. Energy use in agriculture is additionally included as relevant to emissions from agriculture as an economic production sector under the ISIC A statistical classification, though recognizing that, in terms of IPCC, they are instead part of the Energy sector of the national GHG inventory. FAO emissions estimates are available over the period 1961–2018 for agriculture production processes from crop and livestock activities. Land use emissions and removals are generally available only for the period 1990–2019. This analytical brief focuses on overall trends over the period 2000–2018.
