dc.description.abstract | Cereal prices in Bamako have significantly declined in recent months, improving access to food. Malian government joined forces with Mauritania to ensure security and to prevent the attacks by Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM). People are recovering from acute food insecurity but major parts of the country are reported to be moderately food insecure. The government supports rice growers with an input subsidy programme while rebuilding stocks to support producers' price. | |
