Over the years, FAO has implemented 130 projects. The Organization is currently supporting the country in policy formulation while implementing programmes and projects for improved food security and nutrition and resilience in agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors. -

No results found.The 2023 land cover map of the Gambia (Figure 1) has been developed as part of the Geospatial Technical Assistance to IFAD’s project: Resilience of Organizations for Transformative Smallholder Agriculture Project (ROOTS). The land cover classes were prepared using the West Africa Land Cover Reference System and Land Cover Classification System software version 3 (LCCSv3) based on Land Cover Meta Language (LCML:ISO 19144-2).
