FAO Armenia brochure is dedicated to the FAO's 75 anniversary and the work in Armenia since the founding of FAO Armenia Representation office in 2004. It covers the main projects implemented in the country, the major outputs, key stakeholders, beneficiaries, donors, etc. The purpose of this publication is to inform the general public, young people, media, partners, stakeholders, other interested parties, on the importance of the work implemented by the Organization in the country; to showcase the key achievemnets by the country office during the last 17 years; to increase the overall visibility of FAO in Armenia. The booklet will be published in English and in Armenian languages, will be available both in electronical version and printed. -

No results found.A thematic study on “Urban and peri-urban forestry” focuses on the potentials and constraints for urban forestry development at regional and sub-regional levels considering the current experience and future prospects of urbanization in the region that is expected to take place in the next 15 years. As a complement to this thematic Urban and peri-urban forestry study, a livelihoods analysis of the contribution of forests and trees to urban poor livelihoods has been carried out the Sub-programme o n access to natural resources of the Livelihood Support Programme (GCP/INT/803/UK). This paper presents the analysis. It represents part of an area of work on linkages between access to forest resources and poverty in West and Central Asia. -
