No results found.Th current Strategic Plan to fight Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza was developed by the Directorate of Veterinary Services with the support of FAO and Technical and Financial Partners . It aims to support the Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries for the eradication of HPAI from Côte d’ivoire and redynamise the national avian value chain in the affected areas of Bouaké, Bingerville, Grand-Bassam, Songon and Agnibilekrou. This strategic control Plan to figth Highly Pathogenic Influenza aims at the total eradication of the disease from Cote d'Ivoire within a period of twelve months. This implies a full involvement of the Decentralized Veterinary Servicese, the implementation of a sound rigourous detection of suspect cases and by establishing appropriate sanitary, biosecurity and biosafety measures through a multisectoral approach : One Health.
