2021缔约方讨论了用于审查和评估《港口国措施协定》效力的调查问卷的结果,一致认为调查问卷是一项有用工具,同时指出需要进一步改进调查问卷。缔约方责成粮农组织审查调查问卷,并商定调查问卷将每四年完成一次。缔约方指出,虽然在有效利用《港口国措施协定》打击非法、不报告和不管制捕鱼活动方面取得进展,但仍存在一些挑战。缔约方欢迎区域渔业机构提供的关于《港口国措施协定》执行进展的有用信息,并同意需要制定针对区域渔业机构的标准化问卷。缔约方委托粮农组织编写问卷草案第一稿。缔约方欢迎全球信息交流系统原型,并同意该系统进入试点阶段。缔约方还重申提供《港口国措施协定》国家联络点相关信息十分重要。缔约方表示,获得支持以实施有效监测、控制和监督,开展执法以及落实全球信息交流系统十分重要。秘书处宣布启动全球能力发展门户。缔约方要求委托特设工作组讨论制定战略以提高《港口国措施协定》效力的相关事宜,并批准了《港口国措施协定》战略特设工作组职责范围。 -

Based on official reports, this compendium illustrates how projects funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), designed and implemented by FAO in close collaboration with national counterparts in Latin America and the Caribbean from 2013 to 2023, are concretely contributing to achieving the objectives of the new Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework of the Convention on Biological Diversity. These projects have been essential in addressing critical biodiversity challenges in the region, where biological diversity is rich but threatened. FAO has worked alongside local governments, community organizations, and other key stakeholders to develop strategies and actions that not only protect biodiversity but also promote sustainable development and community resilience. In particular, this document focuses on Target 09 of the Global Biodiversity Framework: Manage wildlife species sustainably to benefit people.Contributions are reported in the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Grenada, Mexico, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. -
