Brochure, flyer, fact-sheetHigh-profileГендерные последствия пандемии COVID-19 и сбалансированные меры реагирования в области сельского хозяйства, продовольственной безопасности и питания 2020В связи с пандемией COVID-19 многие страны принимают меры для борьбы с распространением этого вируса. И хотя с медицинской точки зрения сельские районы затронуты пандемией не так сильно, как городские центры, для сельских женщин меры сдерживания создают новые проблемы, связанные с их ролью в поддержании продовольственной безопасности домохозяйств в качестве производителей сельхозпродукции, управляющих фермерскими хозяйствами, переработчиков, торговцев, наемных работников и предпринимателей. Опыт показывает, что от кризисов в области здравоохранения и от экономических кризисов сельские женщины страдают гораздо больше мужчин. Проявляется это в самых разных аспектах, включая продовольственную безопасность и питание, нехватку свободного времени, доступ к медицинским учреждениям, услугам и экономическим возможностям и гендерное насилие. Кроме того, пандемия COVID-19 усугубляет лежащее на женщинах бремя забот из-за закрытия школ и в связи с необходимостью ухаживать за заболевшими членами семьи. В настоящей записке обобщены фактические данные о текущей и прошлых эпидемиях, которые помогут проанализировать социально-экономические последствия этой пандемии для продовольственных систем и сельской экономики и изучить возможность применения гендерного подхода для решения ключевых вопросов в области политики, связанных с функционированием агропродовольственных систем и особыми условиями жизни сельских женщин. Здесь также представлены конкретные рекомендации по смягчению последствий пандемии для сельских женщин и девочек.

No results found.The Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA) was established at COP23 to address six topics in the agricultural sector's role in climate change. KJWA has contributed to sharing scientific and technical knowledge, but limitations remain in translating outcomes into concrete climate actions. The new four-year joint work on the implementation of climate action on agriculture and food security, which prioritizes ending hunger and considers national circumstances, includes the creation of an online portal for sharing information. The four-year agenda is shaped and broadened through the submission of views by parties, observers, and civil society and will be considered by SBSTA and SBI in June 2023. -

They aimed to identify the critical loss points in the selected supply chains, the key stages at which food losses occur, why they occur, the extent and impact of food losses and the economic, social and environmental implications of the food losses. Furthermore, these studies also evaluated the feasibility of potential interventions to reduce food losses and waste. -

The 2023 edition of the Regional Overview of Food Security and Nutrition in Latin America and the Caribbean presents an update of the data and trends in food security and nutrition in recent years. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate crisis and the conflict in Ukraine, as well as the economic slowdown, rising food inflation and income inequality have had an impact on regional figures. The most recent data shows that, between 2021 and 2022, progress was made in reducing hunger and food insecurity in Latin America and the Caribbean. However, the progress achieved is far from the targets established to meet SDG 2 of ending hunger. In addition, one in five people in the region cannot access a healthy diet and malnutrition in all its forms, including child stunting, micronutrient deficiencies and obesity continue to be a major challenge.
