It provides updates on the FAO Regional Gender Strategy and Action Plan 2022–2025 for Asia and the Pacific, highlighting successful gender mainstreaming initiatives, achievements, and field experiences from FAO teams dedicated to closing gender gaps and addressing inequalities, particularly in the context of eliminating hunger and poverty in the region. While primarily intended for FAO employees, the newsletter may also be of interest to the public and development partners who would like to learn about FAO's initiatives promoting gender equality in Asia and the Pacific. The newsletter aligns with a key action point of the regional gender strategy - producing and disseminating gender-responsive communication materials to support gender equality and women's empowerment. -
