    This Data in Emergencies Monitoring (DIEM-Monitoring) brief shares the results of a second-round assessment conducted from January to March 2023 in Guatemala. It presents key findings and recommendations for humanitarian actors to utilize in planning and implementing data-driven programming to sustain farmers’ livelihoods and build their resilience to future shocks – protecting the food security of rural people in Guatemala  The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) established the DIEM-Monitoring System to collect, analyse and disseminate data on shocks and livelihoods in countries prone to multiple shocks. DIEM-Monitoring aims to inform decision-making by providing regularly updated information on how different shocks are affecting the livelihoods and food security of agricultural populations. Information is collected from primary sources in the production process: producers, traders or marketers, input suppliers, extension officers and other key informants.

    Le Guide d'étude de la composition des aliments est publié en deux volumes : Questions et exercices - Volume 1 et Réponses aux questions et exercices - Volume 2. Les deux volumes consistent en 17 modules regroupés sous 12 grands thèmes. Chaque module est séparé en différentes sections. Le premier énonce les objectifs d'apprentissage, la matière à étudier et une estimation du temps nécessaire pour compléter le module. Souvent, beaucoup de ressources ou de matériel de référence sont indiqués avec du matériel de lecture supplémentaire. La deuxième section contient les questions, la troisième les exercices. Dans le volume avec les réponses, une section supplémentaire fournit le retour d'information général.
