Synopsis (short abstract) FAO works closely with the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) to achieve the shared goals of improving food security and nutrition, eradicating hunger and poverty and promoting sustainable rural development. In line with the CELAC Plan of Action 2014, FAO collaborates with CELAC member states in areas of work including the post-2015 development agenda, climate change, South-South Cooperation, food security and family farming.
