Kılavuzlar, FAO Sorumlu Balıkçılık Davranış İlkelerinin genel hükümlerini desteklemek üzere küçük ölçekli balıkçılıkla ilgili tamamlayıcı rehberlik sağlamak üzere geliştirilmiştir. Buna göre, Kılavuz İlkeleri, küçük ölçekli balıkçılığın zaten önemli olan rolünün görünürlüğünü, tanınmasını ve geliştirilmesini desteklemeyi ve açlık ve yoksulluğun ortadan kaldırılmasına yönelik küresel ve ulusal çabalara katkıda bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Kılavuz İlkeler, küçük ölçekli balıkçılara ve balık işçilerine ve ilgili faaliyetlere vurgu yaparak ve savunmasız ve marjinalleştirilmiş insanları da dahil ederek, insan haklarına dayalı bir yaklaşımı teşvik ederek, sorumlu balıkçılığı ve mevcut ve gelecek nesillerin yararına sürdürülebilir sosyal ve ekonomik kalkınmayı desteklemektedir.

Bu iki program, Orta Asya ve Kafkasya'daki ülkelerin tarım ve ormancılık alanlarındaki kapasitelerinin yanı sıra Afrika ve Balkanlar'daki ülkelerin kapasitelerinin güçlendirilmesine sadece finansman sağlayarak değil, aynı zamanda deneyim ve uzmanlık paylaşımı yoluyla da önemli ölçüde katkıda bulunmaktadır. No results found.This document is an attempt to present an overview of the technological options that are currently available to promote increased productivity and competitiveness of the cassava crop. These options could become an excellent strategy for the difficult task faced by the countries in the region that need to reduce poverty, hunger and the increased dependency on imported foods to attend the nutritional needs of their populations. This document is divided into three parts. The first part summariz es relevant background information on the current status of cassava globally and in the context of the Caribbean region. Part two is a compilation of the information collected via a survey administered with the collaboration of key resource persons in most countries of the region. Data obtained was complemented with updated information collected and compiled with the support of the Statistics Department, FAO Rome; and with data provided by the cassava practicioners (research and extension agents ), from 12 countries, who attended an International Training event organized by CLAYUCA, with financial support from the Colombian Government. The third part includes some concrete examples of potential opportunities that could be implemented in the region, using a three-pillar approach that CLAYUCA has been proposing, that includes: a) improved genetic resources; b) eco-efficient crop and soil management technologies; and c) value-added processing and utilization technologies. Some conclusions and recommendatios are also included. -

No results found.The main purpose of this document is to provide recommendations of changes needed to ensure the effectiveness of the agricultural insurance system, including identification of international best practices that could be applicable to Serbia. Prior to compiling this report, a desktop review of the current status of agricultural insurance and related legislative and normative documents in Serbia was conducted. The main legislative documents regulating agricultural insurance, including the Insurance Law, Obligations Law, Hail Protection Law, the Law on Agricultural and Rural Development Subsidies, and the Law on Reconstruction Following Natural and Other Hazards, were analysed. The key regulatory and normative documents have been reviewed, including the rulebook on the conditions, manner and form of application for exercising the right to subsidies for the insurance premium for crops, fruits, perennial crops, nurseries and animals; the regulation on the distribution of incentives in agriculture and rural development in 2020; and the guidelines on minimal standards of conduct and good practice of insurance market participants. The project team reviewed the regulations on the distribution of incentives in agriculture and rural development from the previous years (2016–2019) and made a comparative analysis of the changes and modifications per each year as related to agricultural insurance.
