No results found.The Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP) is a multi-lateral and multi-sectoral facilitation mechanism that fosters collective action and uses a multi-pronged approach for capacity development in agriculture. In the Southeast Asian Region, it is being implemented by the the Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study and Research in Agriculture (SEARCA) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), which serves as knowledge broker and global convenor, by adding valu e to on-going initiatives in Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS). -

However several tropic al countries lack the resources and capacities to suitably develop their agricultural innovation systems. To address this gap, the g20 established the tropical agriculture platform (tap), a multilateral dynamic facilitation mechanism, which fosters better coherence and greater impact of capacity development for agricultural innova tion systems in tropical countries. -

No results found.TAPipedia is one of the three envisaged services to be developed by TAP aiming to facilitate an agricultural innovation boost for tropical countries – the other two being a policy-dialogue space and a marketplace, respectively. TAPipedia is expected to be “a global information system for innovation outputs, success stories, socioeconomic impacts, lessons learned, and analyses of impacts”. This is a brief description of what TAPipedia is expected to provide access to in terms of content and these resources are at the core of what the outcomes of an analysis revealed.
