    This is an overview of a pilot project undertaken under the auspices of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO‐Tanzania) project, National Forest Monitoring and Assessment (NAFORMA). The pilot was implemented between August and December 2012, to test the appropriateness of a process‐based methodology for a proposed nationwide communication strategy on wildfire mitigation.
