2022الغرض من هذا المنشور (وهو يُعد جزء من سلسلة منظمة الأغذية والزراعة حول التنمية المستدامة لسلسلة القيمة الغذائية) هو لتسهيل الدمج المنتظم لأبعاد المساواة بين الجنسين في برامج ومشاريع تطوير سلاسل القيمة. حيثُ يرفع الوعي حول عدم المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة ويناقش أهمية معالجة هذه الأبعاد في تطوير سلسلة القيمة، مع بناء نهج مشترك للعمل على تطوير سلسلة القيمة التي تراعي الفوارق بين الجنسين. وهو يحقق ذلك من خلال الجمع بين المفاهيم الأساسية من تطوير سلسلة القيمة والنوع الإجتماعي ومن خلال توفير مبادئ توجيهية ملموسة لإدماج النوع الإجتماعي في مشاريع وبرامج تطوير سلاسل القيمة. يحتوي هذا الإطار المفاهيمي على منشور مصاحب،ألا وهو تطوير سلاسل قيمة مراعية للنوع الإجتماعي: إرشادات للممارسين، والتي توفر أدوات محددة لدعم الممارسين في تصميم وتنفيذ ومراقبة برامج سلسلة القيمة التي تراعي النوع الإجتماعي. -

No results found.There is increasing attention to the importance of biodiversity for food security and nutrition, especially above-ground biodiversity such as plants and animals. However, less attention is being paid to the biodiversity beneath our feet, soil biodiversity, which drives many processes that produce food or purify soil and water. This report is the result of an inclusive process involving more than 300 scientists from around the world under the auspices of the FAO’s Global Soil Partnership and its Intergovernmental Technical Panel on Soils, the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Global Soil Biodiversity Initiative, and the European Commission. It presents concisely the state of knowledge on soil biodiversity, the threats to it, and the solutions that soil biodiversity can provide to problems in different fields. It also represents a valuable contribution to raising awareness of the importance of soil biodiversity and highlighting its role in finding solutions to today's global threats. -

No results found.The FAOSTAT emissions database is composed of several data domains covering the categories of the IPCC Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use (AFOLU) sector of the national GHG inventory. Energy use in agriculture is additionally included as relevant to emissions from agriculture as an economic production sector under the ISIC A statistical classification, though recognizing that, in terms of IPCC, they are instead part of the Energy sector of the national GHG inventory. FAO emissions estimates are available over the period 1961–2018 for agriculture production processes from crop and livestock activities. Land use emissions and removals are generally available only for the period 1990–2019. This analytical brief focuses on overall trends over the period 2000–2018. -

This new strategy replaces the previous strategy from 2017 to better FAO's climate action with the Strategic Framework 2022-2031, and other FAO strategies that have been developed since then. The Strategy was elaborated following an inclusive process of consultation with FAO Members, FAO staff from headquarters and decentralized offices, as well as external partners. It articulates FAO's vision for agrifood systems by 2050, around three main pillars of action: at global and regional level, at country level, and at local level. The Strategy also encourages key guiding principles for action, such as science and innovation, inclusiveness, partnerships, and access to finance.
