2002A joint Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations/World Health Organization (FAO/WHO) expert Consultation on Health and Nutritional properties of powder milk with live lactic acid bacteria was held in Amerian Córdoba Park Hotel, Córdoba, Argentina from 1 to 4 October, 2001. The Consultation, which was the first meeting of this group, focused on the evaluation of the scientific evidence available on the properties, functionality, benefits, safety, and nutritional features of probiotic foods. A total of 11 experts from 10 countries participated in the Consultation. -
