Book (stand-alone)Technical reportPerspectivas alimentarias - noviembre de 2007 2007Los precios de los productos agrícolas aumentaron de forma pronunciada en 2006 y, en algunos casos, siguen subiendo este año a un ritmo incluso más acelerado. El índice de la FAO para los precios de los alimentos aumentó en 2006 un 9 por ciento en comparación con el año anterior. En septiembre de 2007 se situaba en 172 puntos, lo que representa un aumento aproximado de 37 por ciento anual. La rápida subida de los precios se ha visto impulsada primordialmente por los productos lácteos y los cerea les, pero también han aumentado considerablemente los precios de otros productos, excepto el azúcar.

2018“Perspectivas Alimentarias” es una publicación de la División de Comercio y Mercados de la FAO realizada en el marco del sistema mundial de información y alerta (SMIA). Se publica semestralmente y se centra en los factores que afectan a los mercados mundiales de productos alimentarios y piensos. En cada número se facilitan informes exhaustivos y pronósticos a corto plazo relativos a la producción, la utilización, el comercio, las existencias y los precios de cada producto básico, y se incluyen artículos especiales sobre asuntos temáticos. “Perspectivas Alimentarias” mantiene una estrecha sinergia con otra publicación importante del SMIA, “Perspectivas de las cosechas y Situación alimentaria”, en particular en lo que se refiere a los cereales. “Perspectivas Alimentarias” se publica en árabe, chino, español, francés, inglés y ruso.

No results found.The 40th General Session of the EuFMD Commission took place in Rome, Italy, on the 22 to 24th of April 2013, and was attended by representatives of 31 member countries. Representatives from ten observer countries, from the invited observer institutions with special Constitutional status (EC, OIE, FAO), and from the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and civil society (industry) were registered and in attendance. There were in total around 100 persons. -

No results found.This document provides a global overview of beach seine fisheries and identifies key issues relevant for the responsible use of beach seines and the sustainable livelihoods of beach seine fishers. It also gives guidelines for fisheries managers and other stakeholders on how best to address the issues of management processes and measures, which have the mutually beneficial goals of restoring and conserving the health of fishery resources and their habitats and safeguarding the livelihoo ds of fishers and their communities. The document draws on the findings of case studies coordinated and funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Fisheries and Aquaculture Department in the Gambia, India, Kenya, Mozambique, Peru and Sri Lanka, and by the FAO/United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID) Sustainable Fisheries Livelihoods Programme (SFLP) in Benin, Ghana and Togo. In addition to the findings of the case studies, other studies and publications on beach seines were reviewed and used for the preparation of this document. -
