Les innovations dans le Sud génèrent de nou veaux outils et partenariats qui permettent de résoudre des questions d’insécurité alimentaire, de pauvreté et d’agriculture durable. Par ailleurs, la Coopération triangulaire phénomène qui prend de l’ampleur, permet à une tierce partie, normalement l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE), un pays ou une organisation multilatérale, de fournir des ressources pour faciliter la CSS. -

No results found.FAO’s Technical Cooperation Programme (TCP) is one of the mechanisms to respond to countries’ most pressing needs for technical assistance and effectively pursue the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2019 Report of the Technical Cooperation Programme introduces a new series of annual reports that provide FAO Members, governments, donors, beneficiaries and other stakeholders with evidence of the impact of the work carried out by FAO through the TCP. Prepared by the Outreach, Marketing and Reporting Unit (PSRR), in close collaboration with the TCP Coordination Unit in the Office of the Assistant Director-General (ADG-PS), the first in the series presents and assesses the achievements and catalytic role of TCP-funded projects. Based on a review of the TCP projects operationally closed during 2018 and interviews with lead technical officers, technical officers at FAO headquarters, budget holders and FAO country representatives, the report provides details on the characteristics, typical interventions and results of the programme, and features a select number of in-depth stories to highlight the tangible and lasting results of the programme’s catalytic work. -

No results found.FAO China ECTAD Highlights in June 2019:-The second module of the fifth cohort of China Field Epidemiology Training Program for Veterinarians (CFETPV) was organized in Qingdao, Shandong Province from 20 May to 14 June 2019. The objectives of the module were to help the trainees to: 1) design an outbreak investigation, and collect and analyze resulting data; 2) explain, using examples, the reasons for conducting animal health surveillance; 3) design appropriate surveillance systems for a range of different situations; 4) analyze and interpret data generated by a surveillance system; 5) finalize their field epidemiological study design. -The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Backstopping Meeting was held in FAO China ECTAD Office from 26-27 June 2019. The objectives of the Meeting were: 1) to work with country team in collecting information and updating the country log frame indicator achievements; 2) to assist country team in reviewing supporting documents of reported indicator achievements, i.e. list of participants, meeting reports, study reports, disease outbreak information; 3) to assist country team in preparing for the next progress report and data collection round.
