On 10-12 May 2023, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) organized a workshop for Latin American and Caribbean countries to identify challenges and region specific actions to unlock the full potential of forests food systems, with a specific focus on forest plants, fungi and insects. Over 80 participants joined in the workshop, sharing experiences and lessons learned from Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Jamaica, México, Paraguay and Suriname. -
