2020ՊԳԿ-ի հիմնադրումից 75 տարի անց աշխարհը մեծ առաջընթաց է գրանցել աղքատության, սովի և թերսնուցման դեմ պայքարում: Գյուղատնտեսական արտադրողականության և պարենային համակարգերը երկար ճանապարհ են անցել: Սակայն, դեռևս շատ մարդիկ մնում են խոցելի: Ավելի քան 2 միլիարդ մարդու համար մշտապես հասանելի չէ բավարար քանակի անվտանգ, սննդարար պարենամթերք: ՔՈՎԻԴ-19 համաճարակն էլ ավելի է մեծացրել այս մարտահրավերը ՝ սպառնալով բացասաբար ազդել պարենային անվտանգության, սննդայնության և կենսամիջոցների կարևոր ձեռքբերումների վրա: Հիմա ճիշտ ժամանակն է լուծել անհավասարություններն ու անարդյունավետությունները, որոնք շարունակաբար ճնշում են մեր պարենային համակարգերը, տնտեսությանը և սոցիալական աջակցության կառույցները: Հասել է ժամանկը, երբ պետք է նախկինից ավելի լավ կառուցել։ -

No results found.The Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA) was established at COP23 to address six topics in the agricultural sector's role in climate change. KJWA has contributed to sharing scientific and technical knowledge, but limitations remain in translating outcomes into concrete climate actions. The new four-year joint work on the implementation of climate action on agriculture and food security, which prioritizes ending hunger and considers national circumstances, includes the creation of an online portal for sharing information. The four-year agenda is shaped and broadened through the submission of views by parties, observers, and civil society and will be considered by SBSTA and SBI in June 2023. -

The page on 'knowledge generation' offers an overview of resources published or facilitated by the JP GTA in 2022. Under 'country-level activities' readers will find a summary of the key activities and achievements of the Joint Programme in Ecuador and Malawi. No results found.This report illustrates the food loss assessment studies undertaken along the maize, sunflower and beans supply chains in Uganda in 2015-16 and 2016-17. They aimed to identify the critical loss points in the selected supply chains, the key stages at which food losses occur, why they occur, the extent and impact of food losses and the economic, social and environmental implications of the food losses. Furthermore, these studies also evaluated the feasibility of potential interventions to reduce food losses and waste.
