The dynamics of these different types allow the transformation of agriculture to be monitored over time to design pertinent support policies for agricultural production units. This paper presents the results of a typology of agricultural holdings in France that was carried out with a methodology discussed in the WAW initiative. It validates a typology ba sed on labor. -

No results found.This paper presents a typology of agricultural holdings in Nicaragua andarticulates this work with the need of adequate agricultural policies. Recently, the government has oriented the agricultural policy to meet several goals such as the promotion of agricultural exports on the one hand and support to family farming and small holders on the other hand in order to reduce rural poverty and inequality. In that context, classifying agricultural holdings to better target the beneficiaries of the dif ferentiated policies and programs in a core strategic issue for the government. -

No results found.The purpose of the present report is to present an overview of the potential policy advantages of establishing an international typology of agricultural holdings. To this end, a set of indicators was created by assessing the extent to which the sustainable livelihoods and capital asset frameworks accompanied by territorial analyses can be effectively used. It also presents an overview of agricultural transformations in the light of current global challenges such as food & energy security, climat e change, poverty and inequality.
