dc.description.abstract The project “Participatory Natural Resource Management in the Tonle Sap Region”, GCP/CMB/002/BEL, funded by Belgium and implemented by FAO, started in 1994 and is currently in its second phase of implementation. The stated overall objective of the second phase (1998-2001) is the sustainable management of natural resources within the Tonle Sap basin through local community participation for the benefit of rural people and local communities.
