2023This reference standard is a listing of terms and definitions with specific meaning for phytosanitary systems worldwide. It has been developed to provide a harmonized internationally agreed vocabulary associated with the implementation of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) and International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs). Within the context of the IPPC and its ISPMs, all references to plants should be understood to continue to include algae and fungi, consiste nt with the International Code of Nomenclature for algae, fungi, and plants. -

No results found.This document contains the FAO multilingual and multidisciplinary Glossary of Aquaculture in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and Arabic. The glossary has been compiled in English using existing textbooks and glossaries, in particular those already prepared within the various Services of the Organization, namely the Fisheries and Aquaculture Department and the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Department. Therefore it has been validated by international experts and translated into f our FAO official languages. The glossary contains over 2 500 terms and definitions. The Glossary of Aquaculture is available in hard copy, CD-ROM and online at the FAO Web site. -

2023Cette norme de référence présente une liste de termes accompagnés de leur définition ayant un sens particulier pour les systèmes phytosanitaires du monde entier. Elle a pour objectif d’établir un vocabulaire harmonisé et reconnu sur le plan international afin de faciliter l’application de la Convention internationale pour la protection des végétaux (CIPV) et des Normes internationales pour les mesures phytosanitaires (NIMP). Dans le contexte de la CIPV et de ses NIMP, toute mention de végétaux devrait s’entendre comme incluant, comme auparavant, les algues et les champignons, conformément au Code international de nomenclature pour les algues, les champignons et les plantes. -
