NewsletterNewsletterFAO-Türkiye Ortaklık Programları Haber Bülteni, Eylül 2025 – Sayı #7 2025FAO ve Türkiye arasındaki iş birliği, gıda güvenliği ve doğal kaynakların sürdürülebilir yönetimi başta olmak üzere tarım-gıda sisteminin farklı unsurlarına odaklanan iki Ortaklık Programı aracılığıyla güçlenerek devam etmektedir: FAO-Türkiye Gıda ve Tarım Ortaklık Programı (FTPP II) ve FAO-Türkiye Ormancılık Ortaklık Programı (FTFP). Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Hükümeti’nin her iki programa bugüne kadar sağladığı destek toplam 30 milyon ABD dolarına ulaşmıştır. Bu bülten, FTPP II ve FTFP kapsamında yürütülen proje ve faaliyetlere ilişkin son gelişmeleri paylaşmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Yeni bir girişim, toprak sağlığını iyileştirmek ve arazi bozulmasıyla mücadele etmek için arıtılmış atık suyun güvenli bir şekilde yeniden kullanılmasını teşvik etmektedir. Bölgesel işbirlikleri arasında Kazakistan'da ormancılık eğitimi ve Azerbaycan'da iklime dirençli buğday üretimi yer alıyor. Haber bülteni, medya kapsamı istatistikleri ve Türkiye'nin bölgesel gıda sistemi dönüşümündeki rolüne odaklanan bir bölümle sona eriyor. -

Book (stand-alone)Technical bookTracking progress on food and agriculture-related SDG indicators 2025 2025The achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the 2030 Agenda is now more crucial than ever, as the target date draws near and many goals are still far from being achieved. Countries across the globe are grappling with an array of complex and interconnected challenges, including ongoing conflicts, health crises, biodiversity loss, the escalating impacts of climate change, and political and economic tensions. FAO is the custodian agency for 22 SDG indicators spanning Goals 2, 5, 6, 12, 14 and 15. Among its key responsibilities as a custodian agency is to curate the indicator methodologies, collect, harmonize and compile data from countries, as well as disseminate and analyse data at global level. This report provides an analysis of regional and global figures and trends for the 22 SDG indicators under FAO's responsibility, thus fulfilling one of FAO’s key roles as custodian agency. The world is at a moderate distance from achieving roughly half of the food and agriculture-related SDG indicators under FAO custodianship; one-quarter of the indicators are close to being achieved, whereas another quarter remains far or very far from being achieved. Meanwhile, progress since 2015 has deteriorated on over three-fifths of the indicators; one indicator has stagnated; whereas only the remaining one-third of indicators have registered an improvement or slight improvement.

No results found.The PMP/AB refers to a pathway aimed at enhancing aquaculture biosecurity by building on existing frameworks, capacity and appropriate tools using risk-based approaches and public-private sector partnerships. It is expected to result in sustainable (i) reduction in burden of diseases; (ii) improvement of aquatic health and welfare at farm, national and regional levels; (iii) minimization of global spread of diseases; (iv) optimization of socio-economic benefits from aquaculture; (v) attraction of investment opportunities into aquaculture; and (vi) achievement of One Health goals. In the context of the PMP/AB, biosecurity refers to the cost-effective management of risks posed by pathogens to aquaculture through a strategic approach at the enterprise, local-sector, national and international levels with shared public-private responsibilities. This guidance document for PMP/AB application contains the rationale, vision, mission, scope, goals and benefits of the PMP/AB. The four stages of the PMP/AB are described in detail, including the overall objectives and key outcomes to complete each stage. It also presents a general stepwise process and recommended activities for completing the different stages. The PMP/AB checklist is divided into four broad categories, namely: Sectors and Stakeholders; Aquatic Health Services; Surveillance, Monitoring and Diagnostics; and Management and Evaluation.
