No results found.The FAO Angola Country Programming Framework (CPF) 2024–2028 aligns with Angola’s “Angola 2050” strategy and the National Development Plan (NDP) 2023–2027. It aims to promote sustainable development and reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. The CPF focuses on building a sustainable, secure, and nutrition-sensitive agrifood system by improving agricultural productivity, food security, and environmental sustainability. Key focus areas include promoting innovative farming practices, strengthening climate resilience, and ensuring the inclusion of vulnerable groups such as women, youth, and people with disabilities. The framework is structured around four strategic pillars: agrifood systems transformation; family farming, agribusiness and value chains; environmental sustainability; and disaster risk management.The CPF’s objectives include improving food security and nutrition, aligning with several SDGs, and promoting inclusive socioeconomic development, particularly for youth and women, through job creation and income generation. It also aims to enhance resilience and sustainable management by adopting climate-smart technologies and promoting the blue economy. The framework strongly emphasizes enhancing market access, implementing innovative agricultural technologies, and ensuring the fair distribution of resources and opportunities. By supporting Angola’s advancement in food security, poverty reduction, and sustainable agriculture, the CPF 2024–2028 aligns with both national and global development goals. -

No results found.The Country Programming Framework 2022-25 sets out three priority areas to facilitate FAO's partnership with and support to the Government of Eswatini for transforming agrifood systems by applying innovative international best practices and global standards, along with national and regional expertise, and providing the required technical assistance. These are: (1) Environment and systems for enabling business of agriculture and inclusive gender-responsive food system transformation.,(2) Inclusive, broad-based participation and partnerships in agricultural value chaindevelopment, (3) Sustainable management of natural resources, climate action, resilience building and environmental sustainability. The CPF will support the Government of Eswatini's efforts to double farmers' income and make agriculture more productive, sustainable, and climate-resilient. The CPF 2022–2025 has been developed taking into account major challenges identified in transforming Eswatini's agrifood systems, government policies and priorities. This has been done through extensive consultations with national stakeholders, particularly Government line ministries, civil society, the private sector and development partners as well as relevant UN agencies, including the Rome-based Agencies. The CPF is also aligned with the FAO Strategic Framework 2022–31, as well as the Organization's regional priorities for Africa and the Subregional Office for Southern Africa regions and its corporate initiatives such as the Hand in Hand Initiative (HIHI) and One Country One Priority Product (OCOP). No results found.The Country Programming Framework (CPF) for Mongolia sets out four priority areas to guide FAO’s partnership with and support to the Government of Mongolia, leveraging innovative international good practices and global standards with national and international expertise during the 5 years from 2023 to 2027. This CPF draws on the previous CPF 2020–2021 and the recently developed United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023–2027 and also serves as a planning and programming tool for translating the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Strategic Framework into actions in the specific context of Mongolia.
