    The 'JP GTA - 2022 In Review' offers a snapshot of the milestones, achievements and activities of the Joint Programme over the course of the past year, with links to articles, publications and event recordings.     Directives pour une aquaculture durable 2025

    Les Directives pour une aquaculture durable (ci-après «les Directives») ont été élaborées à la demande des membres dans le cadre d’une démarche inclusive, transparente et participative menée sous la direction du Sous-Comité de l’aquaculture du Comité des pêches de la FAO. Elles définissent un cadre complet de gestion et de développement de l’aquaculture durable et visent à aider les membres et autres parties prenantes à mettre en oeuvre le Code de conduite pour une pêche responsable adopté en 1995. Les Directives ont été établies en réaction à l’essor rapide de l’aquaculture, ce secteur de la production alimentaire étant celui qui enregistre la plus forte croissance au niveau mondial, grâce aux progrès scientifiques, aux innovations technologiques et aux investissements, dans un contexte où la demande mondiale de produits alimentaires d’origine aquatique ne cesse de croître. Cependant, comme pour tous les secteurs de la production alimentaire, cette croissance rapide a mis en lumière des problèmes quant à la durabilité de l’aquaculture et a suscité des préoccupations concernant les retombées négatives qu’elle pourrait entraîner. Les Directives fournissent tout un ensemble d’orientations à suivre pour relever ces défis.
