شرعت منظمة الأغذية والزراعة في سنة 1999 في إجراء عدد من الدراسات لتقييم تأثير اتفاقية الزراعة على تجارة المنتجات الزراعية والأمن الغذائي في البلدان النامية. وتحقيقاً لهذا الغرض، كلّفت عدداً من الخبراء الاستشاريين بإجراء أربع عشرة دراسة حالة قطرية، بالإضافة إلى عرض تحليلي يلخص التجارب والدروس المستفادة من تنفيذ اتفاقية الزراعة.( ) ويتضمن المجلد الحالي تحديث الدراسات السابقة، استناداً إلى عدد أكبر من البلدان وإلى بيانات أحدث. ففي بداية 2002، كلّفت المنظمة عدداً من الخبراء الاستشاريين بإجراء ست عشرة دراسة حالة يستعرضون فيها التجارب القطرية. وفي بعض الحالات، تضمنت العملية إعادة النظر في المعلومات والبيانات التي تتضمنها الدراسات التي أجريت في 1999، مع توسيع العينة لتشمل عدداً آخر من البلدان. وعلى الرغم من أن العرض التحليلي يتناول جميع الدراسات الثلاث والعشرين التي أجريت حتى الآن، يتضمن هذا المجلد ست عشرة دراسة فقط.( ) وتحاول هذه الدراسات الرد على الأسئلة الأربعة التالية عن تأثير اتفاقية الزراعة على البلدان النامية:
- هل أدت الالتزامات التي تنص عليها اتفاقية الزراعة إلى أ ي تغييرات في السياسات الداخلية في البلدان النامية؟
- هل كان لاتفاقية الزراعة تأثير على التدفقات التجارية (الواردات والصادرات) في البلدان النامية؟
- هل كان لتنفيذ الالتزامات التي تنص عليها اتفاقية الزراعة أي تأثير على الأمن الغذائي؟
- وما هي الأولويات والاهتمامات الرئيسية التي تحرص عليها البلدان التي أجريت دراسات بشأنها في مفاوضات منظمة التجارة العالمية؟

Ce document, d'une nature à la fois technique et pratique, s'adresse principalement aux éleveurs, aux Auxiliaires Villageois d'Élevage (AVE) et aux agents d’encadrement technique des éleveurs. Il a pour objet de définir un ensemble minimal de normes en matière de biosécurité, applicables à tous les producteurs de volaille. La biosécurité, concept intrinsèquement défini comme un ensemble de bonnes pratiques mises en œuvre dans le but de prévenir l'introduction et la propagation des maladies au sein des exploitations avicoles, se révèle être le moyen de prévention et de lutte le plus efficace contre la grippe aviaire et autres maladies contagieuses. Ce manuel s'enrichisse notamment par l'incorporation d'illustrations éloquentes, mettant en lumière aussi bien les bonnes et mauvaises pratiques en matière de biosécurité au sein des exploitations avicoles. -

2006This report aims to assess the full impact of the livestock sector on environmental problems, along with potential technical and policy approaches to mitigation. The assessment is based on the most recent and complete data available, taking into account direct impacts, along with the impacts of feedcrop agriculture required for livestock production. The livestock sector emerges as one of the top two or three most significant contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global. The findings of this report suggest that it should be a major policy focus when dealing with problems of land degradation, climate change and air poullution, water shortage and water pollution, and loss of biodiversity. -

No results found.While insect consumption by humans or entomophagy has been traditionally practiced in various countries over generations and represents a common dietary component of various animal species (birds, fish, mammals), farming of insects for human food and animal feed is relatively recent. Production of this ‘mini-livestock’ brings with it several potential benefits and challenges. The objective of this document is to provide the reader with an overview of the various food safety issues that could be associated with edible insects. The intended audiences of this publication are food safety professionals, policymakers, researchers, insect producers as well as consumers. The regulatory frameworks that govern production, trade and consumption of insects in various regions are discussed. The document ends with elucidating some other major challenges, such as consumer acceptance and scaling up production, that the edible insect industry would need to overcome to have a more global reach.
