    استراتيجية الفاو للشراكات مع منظمات المجتمع المدني 2015

    وكانت المنظمة تعمل، منذ عدة سنوات، مع المئات من منظمات المجتمع المدني )المنظمات غير الحكومية والمنظمات المعتمدة على المجتمعات المحلية والاتحادات المهنية والشبكات وغير ذلك( في الأعمال التقنية وعمليات الطوارئ الميدانية والتدريب وبناء القدرات والدعوة للممارسات الزراعية الأفضل. وخلال السنوات الماضية تطورت منظمات المجتمع المدني من حيث التنسيق والهيكل والخدمات الإرشادية والتعبئة وقدرات الدعوة. وأثناء هذه الفترة تعرضت المنظمة أيضا لتغييرات في الإدارة ومراجعة إطارها الاستراتيجي وإعطاء دفعة جديدة للامركز ية. ولذا تعين إجراء استعراض لسياسات واستراتيجية المنظمة لعام 9991 الخاصة بالتعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية ومنظمات المجتمع المدني. وتنظر هذه الاستراتيجية إلى المجتمع المدني باعتباره من العناصر الفاعلة غير الحكومية التي تعمل في المجالات ذات الصلة بولاية المنظمة. ولا تتناول الشراكات مع الأكاديميات ومؤسسات البحوث أو المؤسسات الخيرية حيث يجري تناولها في وثائق أخرى للمنظمة. وسيجري النظر بصورة منفصلة إلى منظمات منتجي الأغذية بالنظر إلى الطابع الخاص لهذه المنظمات وصلتها الوثيقة بولاية المنظمة. فنظرا لأ ن هذه المنظمات تعمل من حيث المبدأ للحصول على الربح فإنها تقع ضمن الاستراتيجية الخاصة بالقطاع الخاص ما لم تُعلن هذه المنظمات غير ذلك، وتلتزم بمعايير منظمات المجتمع المدني. وسوف تُعالج هذه الحالات بصورة منفردة. وتحدد الاستراتيجية ستة مجالات للتعاون ومستويين للتفاعل مع مختلف الأسانيد وطرق العمل: المستوى العالمي - المقر الرئيسي، ومستوى المكاتب الميدانية )الإقليمية والقطرية والمحلية(. ويتمثل التركيز الرئيسي لهذه الاستراتيجية في العمل مع المجتمع المدني على المستوى الميداني.

    This report illustrates the food loss assessment studies undertaken along the maize, sunflower and beans supply chains in Uganda in 2015-16 and 2016-17. They aimed to identify the critical loss points in the selected supply chains, the key stages at which food losses occur, why they occur, the extent and impact of food losses and the economic, social and environmental implications of the food losses. Furthermore, these studies also evaluated the feasibility of potential interventions to reduce food losses and waste.
