Подход "Денежные средства плюс" был разработан для того, чтобы воспользоваться преимуществами интеграции денежных пособий с мероприятиями по оказанию производственной поддержки и обучению навыкам. Этот подход объединяет ключевые сектора, такие как социальная защита, сельское хозяйство и питание, в попытке устранить ключевые причины бедности и некоторые основные причины недоедания. ФАО оказала поддержку Правительству Кыргызстана в экспериментальном применении такого подхода в целях содействия улучшению питания и укрепления производственного потенциала бедных сельских домохозяйств . В рамках этого пилотного проекта доступ к национальной программе социальных денежных пособий для малообеспеченных семей с детьми - «уй-булоого комок» - был дополнен просвещением по вопросам питания домохозяйств и обучением климатически оптимизированному сельскому хозяйству, учитывающему вопросы питания. Цель пилотного проекта «Продуктивный социальный контракт/денежные средства плюс» заключалась в том, чтобы продемонстрировать, что интегрированные социальная защита и сельскохозяйственные мероприятия могут обеспечить устойчивое улучшение продовольственной безопасности и качества питания уязвимых сельских домохозяйств, повысить их сельскохозяйственную производительность и оказать им поддержку на пути выхода из бедности. -

A global assessment of emissions and mitigation opportunities
2013As renewed international efforts are needed to curb greenhouse gas emissions, the livestock sector can contribute its part. An important emitter of greenhouse gas, it also has the potential to significantly reduce its emissions. This report provides a unique global assessment of the magnitude, the sources and pathways of emissions from different livestock production systems and supply chains. Relying on life cycle assessment, statistical analysis and scenario building, it also prov ides estimates of the sector’s mitigation potential and identifies concrete options to reduce emissions. The report is a useful resource for stakeholders from livestock producers to policy-makers, researchers and civil society representatives, which also intends to inform the public debate on the role of livestock supply chains in climate change and possible solutions. -

This new strategy replaces the previous strategy from 2017 to better FAO's climate action with the Strategic Framework 2022-2031, and other FAO strategies that have been developed since then. The Strategy was elaborated following an inclusive process of consultation with FAO Members, FAO staff from headquarters and decentralized offices, as well as external partners. It articulates FAO's vision for agrifood systems by 2050, around three main pillars of action: at global and regional level, at country level, and at local level. The Strategy also encourages key guiding principles for action, such as science and innovation, inclusiveness, partnerships, and access to finance.

No results found.The significance of industrial processing for the nature of food and the state of human health - and in particular the techniques and ingredients developed by modern food science and technology - is generally underestimated. This is evident in both national and international policies and strategies designed to improve populations' nutrition and health. Until recently it has also been neglected in epidemiological and experimental studies concerning diet, nutrition and health. This report seeks to assess the impact of ultra-processed food on diet quality and health, based on NOVA, a food classification system developed by researchers at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
