The event gathered over 400 participants, including delegates from 66 FAO Members, chief veterinary officers, international organizations, FAO reference centres, vaccine manufacturers, researchers, and young professionals. The goal was to address urgent animal health challenges and shape a path towards sustainable transformation.Organized into nine thematic sessions, the proceedings explore innovations in veterinary vaccinology and diagnostics, the evolving role of reference centres and regional labs, the One Health approach, and strategies to enhance preparedness, surveillance, and collaboration. It includes summaries of high-level plenaries, panel discussions, ministerial sessions, six side events, and a curated exhibition of twelve global success stories in sustainable livestock practices.The publication offers an accessible and comprehensive record of the conference, featuring keynote speeches, country interventions, technical presentations, and expert insights. It serves as a key reference for decision-makers, practitioners, academics, and development partners working to strengthen animal health systems.As both a technical guide and strategic roadmap, the volume underscores FAO’s commitment to global cooperation in animal health.
