Устойчивость к противомикробным препаратам (УПП) является глобальной угрозой здоровью, которая усугубляется неправильным и чрезмерным использованием противомикробных препаратов, особенно в секторе производства продуктов питания для людей и скота. Региональный правовой отчет представляет результаты анализа национального законодательства, касающегося применения противомикробных препаратов (ППМП) и УПП в продовольственном и сельскохозяйственном секторах, который был проведен в Армении, Беларуси, Казахстане, Кыргызстане и Таджикистане. В документе обсуждаются результаты правового анализа, даются рекомендации по устранению недостатков и формулируются предложения по улучшению существующего законодательства в каждой стране с конечной целью ограничить неосмотрительное использование противомикробных препаратов и, следовательно, уменьшить распространение УПП в продовольственном и сельскохозяйственном секторах. -

Он предназначен для использования странами в качестве вспомогательной основы для самооценки путем определения приоритетных областей улучшения и планирования последовательных и скоординированных действий по достижению ожидаемых результатов. Страны могут отслеживать свои успехи путем регулярного повторения оценки. Инструмент основан на принципах Кодекса и на руководстве по Национальным системам контроля пищевых продуктов, а также на других соответствующих руководствах Кодекса по системам контроля пищевых продуктов, которые упоминаются в документе. Сфера его действия определяется двумя целями, указанными в руководстве Кодекса для этих систем: защитой здоровья потребителей и обеспечением справедливой практики в торговле пищевыми продуктами. Компонент D рассматривает характеристики системы, необходимые для того, чтобы она стала научно обоснованной, включала методы анализа рисков, могла идти в ногу с новейшими научными достижениями и постоянно развивалась. Он рассматривает, каким образом компетентные органы обосновывают свои решения соответствующей научно-технической информацией, анализирует надежность процессов сбора информации, лежащих в основе анализа рисков, и оценивает использование этой структуры анализа рисков для управления рисками, связанными с безопасностью пищевых продуктов. Он также посвящен способности компетентных органов пересматривать показатели и совершенствовать их с учетом новейших научно- технических знаний в целях достижения соответствующих результатов

The Committee on Fisheries established the Sub-Committee on Fish Trade to serve as a multilateral framework for consultations on international trade in fishery products. The sixteenth session of the Sub-Committee was held in Busan, Republic of Korea, from 4 to 8 September 2017. The Sub-Committee took note of recent developments concerning international trade in fishery products. It also considered specific issues related to international trade and sustainable fisheries development, including: reduction of fish food loss and waste; Voluntary Guidelines for Catch Documentation Schemes (CDS); update on activities related to food quality, safety and market access; fish trade and the Convention on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora (CITES); and monitoring the implementation of article 11 of the Code of Conduct for Responsible Fisheries (CCRF). The Sub-Committee for the first time also addressed the following topics: social sustainability in fisheries value chains and the link to trade; the impact of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) on livelihoods, trade, food fish supply and consumption; and the impact of climate change on future fish supply, trade and consumption.

The Strategy also encourages key guiding principles for action, such as science and innovation, inclusiveness, partnerships, and access to finance.

Transforming food systems for food security, improved nutrition and affordable healthy diets for all
2021In recent years, several major drivers have put the world off track to ending world hunger and malnutrition in all its forms by 2030. The challenges have grown with the COVID-19 pandemic and related containment measures. This report presents the first global assessment of food insecurity and malnutrition for 2020 and offers some indication of what hunger might look like by 2030 in a scenario further complicated by the enduring effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also includes new estimates of the cost and affordability of healthy diets, which provide an important link between the food security and nutrition indicators and the analysis of their trends. Altogether, the report highlights the need for a deeper reflection on how to better address the global food security and nutrition situation.To understand how hunger and malnutrition have reached these critical levels, this report draws on the analyses of the past four editions, which have produced a vast, evidence-based body of knowledge of the major drivers behind the recent changes in food security and nutrition. These drivers, which are increasing in frequency and intensity, include conflicts, climate variability and extremes, and economic slowdowns and downturns – all exacerbated by the underlying causes of poverty and very high and persistent levels of inequality. In addition, millions of people around the world suffer from food insecurity and different forms of malnutrition because they cannot afford the cost of healthy diets. From a synthesized understanding of this knowledge, updates and additional analyses are generated to create a holistic view of the combined effects of these drivers, both on each other and on food systems, and how they negatively affect food security and nutrition around the world.In turn, the evidence informs an in-depth look at how to move from silo solutions to integrated food systems solutions. In this regard, the report proposes transformative pathways that specifically address the challenges posed by the major drivers, also highlighting the types of policy and investment portfolios required to transform food systems for food security, improved nutrition, and affordable healthy diets for all. The report observes that, while the pandemic has caused major setbacks, there is much to be learned from the vulnerabilities and inequalities it has laid bare. If taken to heart, these new insights and wisdom can help get the world back on track towards the goal of ending hunger, food insecurity, and malnutrition in all its forms. -
