2018منظمة الأغذية والزراعة. 2018. تقرير الدورة الحادية والأربعين للهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط، بودفا، الجبل الأسود، 16-20 أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2017. تقرير الهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط رقم 41. روما، إيطاليا. حضر الدورة الحادية والأربعين للهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط، إضافة إلى الدورة الثامنة للجنة الإدارة والمالية، ممثلون عن الأطراف المتعاقدة، وعددها 22 طرفًا، وممثلون عن ثلاثة أطراف متعاونة غير متعاقدة، وطرف واحد غير متعاقد. كما حضر الدورة ممثلون عن 20 منظمة حكومية دولية وغير حكومية، ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة ومشاريعها الإقليمية، وكذلك مكاتب الهيئة وأجهزتها الفرعية. وخلال الدورة، تم استعراض التقدم المُحرز في تنفيذ الاستراتيجية المتوسطة الأجل، بما في ذلك ما يتعلق بإعلان مالطة الوزاري لعام 2017. وعلاوة على ذلك، نوقشت أنشطة التعاون في إطار الاتفاقات المبرمة مع الأطراف المتعاقدة والأطراف المتعاونة غير المتعاقدة والمنظمات الشريكة. وفي ضوء زيادة التعاون مع الهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط، منحت الهيئة مركز الدولة الطرف المتعاونة غير المتعاقدة لجمهورية مولدوفا. وفي ما يتعلق بإدارة مصايد الأسماك وتربية الأحياء المائية في منطقة اختصاص الهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط، اعتمد ما مجموعه ثماني توصيات مُلزمة تتناول المسائل التالية: الإبلاغ عن البيانات والمعلومات المتعلقة بتربية الأحياء المائية؛ وإدارة مصايد أسماك الشبوط المرقط في بحر الألبوران؛ وإنشاء منطقة مصايد مقيَّدة في جابوكا/بومو بيت (البحر الأدرياتيكي)؛ وخطة متعددة السنوات لإدارة مصايد سمك الترس في البحر الأسود؛ ووضع خطة إدارة تكيُّفية إقليمية لاستغلال المرجان الأحمر في البحر الأبيض المتوسط؛ وتقديم بيانات عن أنشطة الصيد في منطقة اختصاص الهيئة العامة لمصايد أسماك البحر الأبيض المتوسط؛ وخطة عمل إقليمية لمكافحة الصيد غير القانوني دون إبلاغ ودون تنظيم في منطقة اختصاص الهيئة، وخطة دولية مشتركة للتفتيش والإشراف خارج المياه الخاضعة للولاية الوطنية في مضيق صقلية. واعتمدت الهيئة كذلك ستة قرارات، بما في ذلك ما يلي: استراتيجية للتنمية المستدامة لتربية الأحياء المائية في البحر الأبيض المتوسط والبحر الأسود؛ وخطوط توجيهية لتبسيط عمليات الترخيص والتأجير في مجال تربية الأحياء المائية؛ واستئناف عمل مجموعة العمل المعنية بتكنولوجيا الصيد؛ ومجموعة عمل دائمة معنية بالنُظم الإيكولوجية البحرية الهشة؛ وشبكة للموائل الأساسية للأسماك، وتطبيق نظام وضعته المنظمة البحرية الدولية لتعريف السفن. وأخيرًا، اعتمدت الهيئة برنامج عملها للفترة المقبلة في ما بين الدورات، وأقرت ميزانيتها لعام 2018 التي تبلغ 162 532 2 دولارًا أمريكيًا، فضلًا عن عدد من الإجراءات الاستراتيجية ستموَّل من الموارد من خارج الميزانية. كما وافقت الهيئة بالإجماع على تجديد ولايات مكاتب لجنة الإدارة والمالية، واللجنة العلمية الاستشارية المعنية بتربية الأحياء المائية، ومجموعة العمل المخصصة المعنية بالبحر الأسود، ولجنة الامتثال.

Urbanization, agrifood systems transformation and healthy diets across the rural–urban continuum
2023This report provides an update on global progress towards the targets of ending hunger (SDG Target 2.1) and all forms of malnutrition (SDG Target 2.2) and estimates on the number of people who are unable to afford a healthy diet. Since its 2017 edition, this report has repeatedly highlighted that the intensification and interaction of conflict, climate extremes and economic slowdowns and downturns, combined with highly unaffordable nutritious foods and growing inequality, are pushing us off track to meet the SDG 2 targets. However, other important megatrends must also be factored into the analysis to fully understand the challenges and opportunities for meeting the SDG 2 targets. One such megatrend, and the focus of this year’s report, is urbanization. New evidence shows that food purchases in some countries are no longer high only among urban households but also among rural households. Consumption of highly processed foods is also increasing in peri-urban and rural areas of some countries. These changes are affecting people’s food security and nutrition in ways that differ depending on where they live across the rural–urban continuum. This timely and relevant theme is aligned with the United Nations General Assembly-endorsed New Urban Agenda, and the report provides recommendations on the policies, investments and actions needed to address the challenges of agrifood systems transformation under urbanization and to enable opportunities for ensuring access to affordable healthy diets for everyone. -

They aimed to identify the critical loss points in the selected supply chains, the key stages at which food losses occur, why they occur, the extent and impact of food losses and the economic, social and environmental implications of the food losses. Furthermore, these studies also evaluated the feasibility of potential interventions to reduce food losses and waste. -
