This poster explain the causes and the negative effects of soil compaction on farm. It is in line with the implementation of the Voluntary Guidelines for Sustainable Soil Management and to maintain healthy soils and food safety in accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals and the FAO’s Strategic Objectives. It contributes to the efforts of ending hunger, malnutrition, climate change adaptation, land degradation and overall sustainable development. It also contributes to the strategic framework of FAO especially SP 1, 2.

The preparation of Country Reports provided an overview of existing information gaps and helped to establish a baseline information on biodiversity for food and agriculture.
