2010El número de personas subnutridas que hay en el mundo, casi 1 000 millones, sigue siendo inaceptablemente elevado en 2010 no obstante su reducción prevista, la primera en 15 años. Esta disminución se puede atribuir en gran parte a un entorno económico más favorable en 2010 –en particular en los países en desarrollo− y a la caída tanto de los precios internacionales como de los precios internos de los alimentos desde 2008. El reciente aumento de los precios de los alimentos puede provocar dificul tades adicionales en la lucha para reducir el hambre. -
