No se consideran en esta norma los medios de crecimiento que se mueven como productos independientes, los que contaminan un producto o los que se utilizan como material de embalaje. -

2016Esta norma describe los principios fitosanitarios para la protección de las plantas que se han incluido en la Convención internacional de protección fitosanitaria (CIPF) y explicado con mayor detalle en sus Normas internacionales para medidas fitosanitarias. Abarca los principios relacionados con la protección de las plantas, incluyendo las plantas cultivadas y no cultivadas/no manejadas, la flora silvestre y las plantas acuáticas, aquellos sobre la aplicación de medidas fitosanitarias con respecto a la movilización internacional de personas, productos básicos y medios de transporte, así como los inherentes a los objetivos de la CIPF. La norma no modifica la CIPF, extiende las obligaciones existentes ni interpreta ningún otro acuerdo o código de leyes. -

2019En la presente norma se proporcionan las directrices para la elaboración y evaluación de medidas integradas en un enfoque de sistemas como opción para el manejo del riesgo de plagas, conforme a las normas internacionales pertinentes para el análisis de riesgo de plagas, que han sido diseñadas para cumplir con los requisitos fitosanitarios de importación de plantas, productos vegetales y otros artículos reglamentados.

2005The objective of the Voluntary Guidelines is to provide practical guidance to States in their implementation of the progressive realization of the right to adequate food in the context of national food security, in order to achieve the goals of the World Food Summit Plan of Action. They provide an additional instrument to combat hunger and poverty and to accelerate attainment of the Millennium Development Goals. The Voluntary Guid elines represent the first attempt by governments to interpret an economic, social and cultural right and to recommend actions to be undertaken for its realization. Moreover, they represent a step towards integrating human rights into the work of agencies dealing with food and agriculture.
